Mi primera gaita/My first gaita

Postby earthjig » Sun Oct 17, 2010 12:07 pm

Hola a todos,

Despues de algunos meses, por fin he logrado acabar mi primera gaita asturiana.
Es una gaita en Sib (Bb), y la unica parte que no es mia, es el puntero ya que aun no tengo escariador.

Aqui os dejo una foto

Hello to all,
After a few months I finally finished my asturian gaita.
This one is a gaita in Sib (Bb). The onmy thing I haven't made myself is the chanter, as I still don't have a reamer.

You'll find a picture below.

Hello Anima,

Well the big drone sounds perfect.
The smaller one a bit too low. I made a mistake with the measures, so I will need to make it a bit shorter.

The chanter is not mine but from a spanish maker. I still don't have the reamer done.

Thanks.

I'm planning on making a new one, galician this time.
It will be in Cocobolo.

I don't know when I'll be able to make it though, I'm busy moving to my new place.
