Hola Chus,

Mira una pregunta sobre el acabado.

A la madera le das un baño de aceite, o solo pasas por encima con un pincel.

Tambien, si se hace el baño de aceite , cuantos haces y cuanto tiempo dejas la madera en el aceite.

Gracias,

Anima, any progress with the English translator program? I sorta can get the general drift of a Spanish sentence, with looking up a few key words, but , well, it's not quite the same, you know... It would be great if this could become a truly international forum, with Hottentots and Aymara indians taking part on equal terms.

No, not yet. I am waiting for a translator plugin for the phpbb software that runs the site (there was one for a previous version of the software, but it hasn't been ported to this version yet). In the meantime, I recommend using cut/paste with google translate at this page, http://translate.google.com/translate_t ... =en&tl=es#

I've played around with a few of the online translators and google seems to get the gist the meaning the best - none are perfect though.

OK google doesn't do such good job with this one....... :-(

Here's my translation:

A question for Chus about the finish,

Do you soak the wood in oil or do you paint it on with a brush?
If you do soak it, how do you do it and for how long do you soak it in the oil?

:D Jeff
( I am assuming they are referring to unboiled Linseed oil)
